This is given by one of the biggest health slimming / beauty clinic in india. It has very good name and popular.
1. Learn alternate method of cooking. Use microwave-oven, non-stick pan, sugar-free tablets, toned-milk, diet-cool drink etc.. Always use less oil, butterm cream, cheese, ghee, salt and sugar. Prefer roast or grill.. Avoid fried food.
2. Plan your day in advance. If going to visit friends, eat less at home.
3. Don’t keep tempting food around if you cannot cope with them. Don’t go for the shopping when you are hungry
4. While dinning out, insist steward to use less or no oil. Enquire about low calorie dishes.
5. Aim for gradual weight loss. (Half kg to one kg per week) monitor weight weekly once. Don’t check weight everyday.
6. Drink at least 10-12 glasses of water everyday. Use small bowls & plates. Eat slowly.
7. Indulge in physical activity that you really enjoy like walking/aerobics/swimming/ dancing or any sport. Make a group with friends, you will be more regular. Choose convenient timing. If you can’t get up early, opt for evening hours. Everyday keep 60 minutes for your body. Keep one day as weekly off to avoid monotony.
8. Be informed about exercise, weight-loss and food. Write diet-diary regularly. Measure portion meticuously. Remember even one gram of oil contains 9Kcal & to lose 9kcal, you have to walk for 2 minutes. It is always advisable to monitor your food.
9. Remove yourself from the company of negative people. Find someone with similar interest, indulge in friendly competition. Reward yourself other than food. Remember company makes a lot of difference.
10. If you are a non-vegetairan eat only once or twice a week. Avoid egg-yolk, chicken-skin, red meat. Prefer roasted/grilled dishes.
11. Request for buttermilk/soda./diet pepsi or coke etc…when offered tea/coffee./cool drinks.
12. Don’t carry away with these excuses as mentioned below :
A. This is season for mangoes, hence go for it !
B. We have paid for dishes, so do not waste it !
C. Eat more because it’s free !
D. Eating more because food may not be available afterwards.
E. Taking more stuff because of friends pressure.
